Ratings & Reviews for simplehuman 45 Liter Grey Plastic Commercial Indoor/Outdoor Kitchen Step Trash Can

Great Garbage Can-You need to get one!

Size, function, style, and design all get FIVE STARS. We got the dark green color, very classy as garbage cans go. This is our second one, we loved the first one. Love how the bags fit nice and tight and they are strong too. Fast shipping and so worth the $$$.

Amazing!

I got the Green and I am obsessed. Such a great color.

Favorite Step Can

I love this step can. A friend recommended the brand to me. Will check out the other home items.

Honestly impressed

I wanted to say it’s too expensive… but it is quite good looking. Also the lift mechanism seems sturdier than other cans we’ve had. We got notified when the green would be available and they notified us without spamming ads which was a huge plus. Time will tell but right now I have no regrets.

Great trash bin

We originally bought this as a recycling bin, but the locking top makes it great for trash and the lack of an inner bin makes it less good for bringing out recycling if you don't use a lining bag. We actually already had the metal 45ml bin that has a plastic bin inside, so by switching them, we got a great set!

Love it

I love that I just press the pedal with my foot and it closes on its own and it doesn’t slam

Love

Love the size even more love the color because trash can be a part of your house and has to look as nice as the rest of it. Thank you.

45L Garbage Can White

I’m really happy with the 45L simplehuman garbage can. The design is sleek, modern, and looks beautiful in my space. It also feels sturdy, and I hope it holds up well for many years. One feature I really liked is the built-in storage compartment for replacement bags — such a cool and practical idea. The bags themselves are strong and resistant. They are a little pricey, but I think it really depends on your style preferences and budget. Overall, it’s a great product, easy to clean, and gives a...

Quality Product

I appreciate the quality materials and clean design of the 45 liter hybrid trash can. The bag storage feature is an added bonus.

Cute

I wish the lid would get to the point of locking in place when opened all the way up without having to use your foot like your old models.

Looks great

This can looks great and is easy to load trash bags.

A Terrific Kitchen Trash Can!

This is our second purchase of this trash can. Our first purchase lasted over 10 years. It is perfect for kitchen use - reliable and easy to keep clean. The dual opening characteristics of the trash can - step and manual make usage very easy. So glad SimpleHuman is still manufacturing it.

Thrilled to have a plastic/metal

Thrilled to have a plastic/metal hybrid option, and even more thrilled to have color choices that are fun! The lavender color brings me joy even just walking past it.

Not anywhere near the Indigo

This color is straight PURPLE. Be ready for purple not indigo as pictured.

So happy I bought it

Clean, smooth, and the interior lid was some sort of plastic! Just what I wanted
