Ratings & Reviews for simplehuman Slim Step Can with Soft-Close Black Plastic Lid, 10 Liter Brushed Steel Commercial Indoor Step Trash Can

excellent and quiet

Very good for small space, very solid feel to it, and quiet. A bit slow in closing, that's my only criticism

Nice and Quiet

I would have given this five starts, but the trash bag that is supposed to fit this can is too small to go around the perimeter. Otherwise, great can and I love the silent close.

Nice and Quiet

I would have given all five stars if the bags fit more easily. The bag that is supposed to be used by this can is really tight and way too snug of a fit and so it is really difficult to put on. Otherwise, great can for the bathroom. Good size and the silent close is AWESOME!

the most awesome trashcan!

The trashcan works great! The only drawback to buying them at Lowe's they don't sell the trash bags that come with them.

10 Litre Profile Step Can

The trash can works well and fits in small places. I wish they made a 20 liter. The only issue I experienced so far is they do not double box the item when it ships so it often arrives with dents. The stainless steel is susceptible to denting. I do not know how it will hold up over time, so this is a short term review.

Great little trash can.

I love this can for the bathroom due to its shape and size. Fits between my cabinet and toilet. Also I like having a covered can. And the step on feature eliminates needing to touch it with hands. The non slip feet keep the can in place and the removable insert is easy to clean. I use standard small wastebasket bags instead of the exact fit bags that cost a little more. They don't fit perfectly, but work pretty well.

Great Design

Product is well designed, space saver, quiet close and sturdy, solid functional design. Great product.

So efficient.

I am using this in my kitchen. Looks so nice. Opens so easy. Holds supermarket bags with inside handles. Perfect.

Fits in small spaces

Love the shape of this trash can it fits perfectly beside my toilet and vanity. Nice looking stainless steel finish make it easy to use in any décor fashion as well.

2nd purchase

I purchased the first can for my one bathroom and liked how well it functioned, that I purchased a second for the other bathroom. The lid with step feature helps keep the pups out the garbage.

Nice Garbage can....

Just needed to keep the dogs out of the bathroom trash... great size for a small room! others I found were too big - or round... or both... and none so reasonable for the product quality...

Excellent buy!

Works exactly as stated. Very nice size for a bath.

Repurposed to a compost pail

This flip lid garbage can makes a good compost pail in our kitchen. It helps our new puppy be a good dog. The step mechanism feels solid and works well. The lift out pail is easy to carry to the compost pile and dump.

It fits the spot where I needed it

Works well so far. The bars on this site don't work very well and it is easy to make a mistake when doing a review. To get correct results, I suggest, you make a change in the method of scoring the product. Needs directions.

Solved a big problem.

This very nice bathroom trash can keeps my dog out of the trash. Our very elderly family member can use it successfully. The can uses regular grocery bags so no extra cost for special bags. Now I want a larger one (same brand and design) for the kitchen. I read online that interior basket can be ordered if original one breaks. This can is very sturdy and will last for years so doubt that I will ever need a replacement. The interior basket has a nice feature to hold bags open and mostly out of vi...
