Ratings & Reviews for simplehuman Slim Step Can with Soft-Close Black Plastic Lid, 10 Liter Brushed Steel Commercial Indoor Step Trash Can

lid slow to open; smaller than expected

The long length of the lid makes it pop open quickly rather than elegantly as with my other simplehuman trash can. It was also much smaller than I expected.

Perfect for narrow space

I have a small space between the toilet and the wall in the bathroom and initially had a lot of trouble finding a garbage pail that would fit but thankfully this one fits perfect!! Love the brushed stainless steel as it matches the bathroom fixtures. The customer service I received was excellent. I own a few products of theirs and am so happy with my purchases. Highly recommend.

Precise!

The trash in the under sink cabinet was always overflowing, and an open container outside of it would have only added to my dog's paper product addiction. This is just the right size to squeeze between the commode and sink cabinet (perfect, actually) and the pedal and lid operate like butter while keeping hands clean. Good capacity and the custom bags make the whole thing look very nice in my main bathroom space. Not really that pricey compared to other options. Well done, precise functional & a...

Best trash cans

I use this in the bathroom. It's a very sturdy yet light trash can with sleek looks and reasonably easy to clean. The fingerprint proof finish is great tho be careful with cleaning. They recommend using light dish soap and water. I used Method all-purpose to clean it and the fingerprint-proof film started to peel off. Luckily they sent me a new one - which was a smart decision because I own so many simplehuman products and this helped to justify my support.

10 litre, profile step can, brushed stainless steel

Wonderful. Have bought for years. Excellent products and customer service.

Just the right fit

For a tight spot next to a Laundry Room cabinet but behind a hall door, this perfectly-sized step can was the ideal choice. It is big enough to be very functional (used mainly to collect lint from the dryer), the step feature allows hands-free access. Really like the quiet-closing lid, too...no loud clang when the lid comes down! If you have snug space that could be made useful, this is definitely worth considering.

was just what I needed; fit neatly under the sink, closes like a soft close drawer, holds plenty, and looks fine, though I wanted something not too noticeable anyway.........

A Gem of a Can

What's there to say about this trash can other than it's sleek, contemporary, space saving and good looking?

Great product

Great product. Quality is well said. Totally recommend it

Excellent

Holds trash like it was its job. I will say that I appreciate how the lid does NOT bang against our wall when opened (like its predecessor). It is quiet and smooth.

10 litre trash can

This is my second trash can, and I love them. The only negative thing I have to say is the trash bags that fit these are too tight ! I have a hard time getting them on there so tight, so I am now using grocery bags, which fit nice

I was unlucky

I've purchased many many products in the past. Never a problem. This time the bin I order came vey well packaged but after I opened it and put in the liner and put it in place I noticed it was dented into the rear corner. Too late for me to return it as I needed to use it for our guests. Other than that it suits what I need. Just a bummer and all I see now is the dented corner.

Does the job

We needed a waste basket for our back deck that would stand up to the weather and hopefully not rust out in a season. This ones is doing a great job. Although not too large, it's just right for us. It also comes with 10 trash bags. A nice touch.

10 Litre Profile Step Can

We got one for master bath last year liked it so well we got another one for guest bath. Takes up littlse space works quietly. looks great thanks

very smooth operation, not conspicuos

comes with several "starter" plastic bags, nice touch.

Great fit!

Needed a trash can that fit between my tub and vanity.

Top of the Line Small Garbage Can

Yes, this product is a bit pricey, but I am glad to have it. It is very sturdy, the lid is tight and the foot pedal mechanism is strong. I have had a larger version of this product in my kitchen for years, and its performance has been stellar.
