Would Not RecommendThe bar that opens/closes the lid bent and the door no longer opens. Getting another of the same item will no cure this defect.

Would RecommendWe really like this trash can. The lid slowly closes on its own once you take your foot off the pedal. It has a wide opening, and it fits a standard trash bag well. Easy to change the bag.

Good Enough
We like the shape of this can and the overall look is easy to live with. The reason for not rating it at 5 stars is because the can scooches backwards when stepping on the foot pedal. For that reason, we needed to place it against a wall. If someone were to step very gingerly, with care, every time, it might not happen. In our home, we tend to move swiftly when discarding trash.

Grey 40L slim plastic step can with liner rim
I bought this can for my laundry room because it matched my washer and dryer. I absolutely love it! I wish I would have bought it sooner. The size works so well in the space. It’s big enough to hold open with my foot to clean the lint screen. Just perfect!

I knew about it from a friend, it’s stylish and fit well in your house. The lead is the best part as it closes slowly giving you enough time to throw trashes into it.
