Pretty pricey for a kitchen trash can. We’ve had one for a couple years now and it’s still in perfect condition and works like new. I recently purchased another one for our recycling because the quality of Simplehuman is just unmatched. This brand will most likely be the only indoor cans we will use. They really are that good. Side note. I purchased the XL Pet food can and I love it just as much.

60 L Step Can
This is a great can. Clean, quiet, easy to use. I use it for all my recycling, which is mixed stream, so that's everything from plastics, to glass and cans, to paper and cardboard. The size is perfect for larger items like folded cardboard boxes. My only wish is that it came with a bucket/insert so that I could just take that out and empty it into my larger curbside recycling bins.

NICE TRASH CAN
I WISH INSTRUCTIONS WERE INCLUDED ON HOW TO APPLY THE ODOR CONTROL AND TRASH BAGS. I ALSO THOUGH THE BACK OF THIS ITEM WAS FLAT. LARGER THEN I THOUGHT BUT NOT A PROBLEM. VERY NICE ITEM FOR THE MOST PART.

not the same
I could be wrong, but I thought my old can had a hard plastic liner in the can, that was nice for messy trash leaks, and the whole lid only opens part way, before it opened all the way at 90 deg more convent for dustpans emptying and such. if I had realised this I might have looked for another trash can, I like the shape, size and ascetics of the can

We absolutely love this garbage can if that’s possible! We had a 15 year old simple human can that the lid finally gave out on. This replacement is larger & also love the no fingerprint finish ! It’s a winner!!

Superb quality
This can is of ample size. It's soft close lid is smooth and quiet. Love that the liner edge is hidden. The step is very sturdy, and the can doesn't tip forward when you step on it if the can is empty like others. I love this purchase.
