I had my last Simple Human can over 10 years. I love the improvements the company has made since then. They got rid of the insert and now I can put the trash bag directly into the can, instead of the insert and then having to lift the insert into the can. They also upgraded to a slightly larger can. My last can was 40L and my new one is 45L. I am more than pleased with my purchase. I have purchased many products from this company and have been impressed with their quality.

I like the new shape, but miss the plastic insert that I had on the rectangle can I first bought. I’m glad it uses the J bag. My first simple human can lasted about 10 years. I hope this one will last the same

High quality
Finally replaced my 20 year old Simplehuman kitchen trash when the foot pedal finally gave out. I ordered the 45L Semi-Round Step Can with liner rim. . Delivery was fast and trash can did not have any dents or blemishes. It works great with my big box store scented 13 gallon heavy duty trash bags. The trash can also came with 10 custom fit liners. Very happy with my purchase and will purchase a bathroom trash can soon, even though my Simplehuman can is still functional after 20 years.

Pretty good, but could be better…
I have the rectangular version which has built-in storage for the liners/trash bags. This version doesn’t have bag storage built-in, but has plenty of room for that capability. Kind of odd they opted to not do that. As always though, a solid rubbish bin.

Absolutely perfect purchase
I bought a damaged stainess steel one at a Bargain Hunt, and it worked flawlessly, but the Black finish is beautiful! The soft close lid is awesome and it looks so good in my black and white kitchen!

Great But…. .
It’s a nice product. Everything you’ve come to expect from you. I WISH it had a stay open feature. There are times we all need the lid to remain open to throw stuff away. Options are always better. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. ⭐️
