No more stinky

We also have 50l trash can that would get smelly until I added the sidekick Compost Caddy. So easy to use. Everyone is complying.

Poorly sealed, lots of fruit flies

Looks nice but poorly sealed lid and we got tons of fruit flies right away. Switched to another bin with a carbon filter and tighter lid and no issues

Compared to other compost containers this one is more expensive but has less features. For example, the bin on the inside doesn’t have a handle so you can lift it out easily. And apparently they indicate you should use bags but most compost containers should not need to use bags inside, and the bags needed are wasteful in manufacturing, shipping, etc. Also on the outside there is no handle so that you can lift it and move it to a different part of your counter. Absolutely perfect

I needed a tight compost receptacle for my kitchen counter, as my previous one was an invitation to sugar ants apparently! This compost caddy is the answer. It's not only beautiful, but it is large enough to hold multiple days worth of food scraps and coffee grounds without getting smelly. And no ants in sight! Highly recommend.

Moisture gets in.

When you open the lid, there’s moisture there. it’s not air tightly sealed.

Cutest compost bin ever

I love my compost caddy! I didn’t realize when purchasing it that it would come with an attachment to hook onto our simple human trash bin, which is genius! It basically takes up zero space and is super convenient. 10/10

Wish it was a little bigger

I like the inner liner, which keeps the stainless steel shell clean. I also like that I can hang it on the side of the Simplehuman trashcan. One less thing to stash beneath the sink or set on the counter. . I just wish it was bigger—a few days of coffee grounds and the trimmings from vegetables/fruit are enough to fill it.

Great Replacement

This is a great compost caddy. The parts make it easy to load, it fits under the sink, and it is easy and clean to take it out to the outside container.

Love this bin!

I keep it handy on my kitchen counter; it’s much better than throwing stinky garbage in the main trash can.

Too small for compost, unless you're a Hobbit. Lid hinges failed after 3 days
