Ratings & Reviews for Sigma Engineered Solutions 1 -Gang Metal Weatherproof New work Switch/Outlet Electrical Box

Electrical Box.

I used this for a surface mount on an interior install. Worked grear

Good, but ...

I had to install this box on a hard stucco (read: concrete) wall, so I had to make my own arrangements since screwing into stucco is not feasible. The only problem with the box was the installation of the grounding wire to the screw anchor provided. The screw did not tighten enough to hold the wire loop, so I had to use a thick washer to take up some of the screw length. In other respects the box and the GFCI outlet were perfect.

Outdoor Electrical Box

Overall very satisfied with the instructions and quality of the box. One item that should have been included was a gasket between the rear of the box and wall. Other than that it was fine.

Nice kit

Everything you need for an outdoor GFI and box is included and for a good price.

Weatherproof Receptacle Kit

Excellent kit everything I needed in one small package to add outside receptacle. The price was very reasonable compared to purchasing all parts separately.

Weatherproof outdoor receptacle

Nothing fancy about this. However, the cover isn't as obstructive when in use. A plus near high traffic areas.

As advertised

I installed this on the back of my house and haven’t had any trouble. It hasn’t rained yet but I can tell by it’s construction I am not going to have any popped breakers.

Perfect outdoor outlet kit

Why go around looking for all the components to install a outdoor plug, this kit has everything you need! Including the gaskets and screws, cant go wrong with this great kit, worth every penny for this!

Complete Kit

Works just like it supposed to and has everything except the anchors in one handy kit.

Good kit, but Lowes sent this instead of the GFCI.

This is a good quality kit, but I ordered the one with the GFCI and was sent this instead. I had to return and reorder the GFCI one. Got it and it is great! I like the metal box and the insulation pad that comes with the kit as well.

Not bad

This product isn’t bad. It works fine. I put it on my temp power pole for a rent house.

Awkward cover.

The cover lifts up at a weird angle that is more awkward to hold than the regular upright cover. The fact the this comes with a GFCI is good but doesn’t make up for the cover.
