The doors are in the way of the screw.
The cover is ideal for my application however there was some difficulty putting in the single screw as I found that both doors had to be wide open in order to insert and attach the screw with my free hand. I accomplished this simply by using two toothpicks to prop the spring loaded doors in the open position.
