Easy to use. Beware of new safety lock.

First of all be sure to unlock the new safety lock to be able to open the door. Though it seems easy to use.

On Line Order of Microwave

Thus far the product has worked flawlessly. When ordered on July 30, the statement was "will be ready for pickup" in 3 hours. At 1:00 PM on August 1 the status was "preparing your order". Thus I went to the Lowes store to ask what the heck. After 20 minutes or so, the item was brought to customer service. Out of 1 to 5, I would rate the pickup process a 1.

Good microwave

We purchased this to replace a less than 3 year old Toshiba Microwave/Inverter that quit working. Went back to a straight Microwave. The sharp looks and works great.

Sharp Carousel Microwave

Replaced our 8 year old unit that stopped operating. We are pleased with this unit. Lowe’s Employees Eric and Elizabeth were friendly and very helpful supporting our purchase.

Simple & Durable

I tried to order this at the store & it was going to be a 2-week turn-around. On a lark, I went on line and got it in a couple of days. It is a newer version of the one I’ve had for years and I like its simplicity and durability.

Heats fast and is QUIET

This Sharp microwave actually heats faster than my previous one (another brand) which was rated similarly power wise. As an example, what I might be heating for a minute before now only requires 45 seconds. It has a large interior space and is an attractive appliance sitting on my counter. Meets our needs!

I like it; it's quieter than our previous one so that's good! It's not quite as powerful as what we previously had but the size is appropriate for our household. I had refer to the manual only once because it's user-friendly! It has a bright display & easy to read buttons.

Works well, but loud idle sound

Installed this new sharp microwave to replace our built in Whirlpool WMC30516HZ and was happy to find it fit the exact same slot and had the vents in the same places. Only modifications needed were to remove the feet with a pair of pliers or flat head screwdriver. The microwave works well but even when not in use, the mechanical whine of the machine is much louder and higher frequency than our old one.
