Its a lifesaver

So glad Sharp is still making this model. It’s a direct replacement for one installed in 2016 and nothing else comes close to fit and performance.

Over-the-counter microwave

There aren’t very many over-the-counter/under the cabinet microwaves available. We were happy with the product, but disappointed that it failed after 2 1/2 years, out of warranty. I was offered a significant discount on a replacement product which we received promptly and is now been installed. We were happy with the device other than its early failure. The new replacement has what appears to be a cream colored opaque ceramic rather than glass turntable which we will have to evaluate. Esthetical...

Sharp Replaced An Older Sharp With No Issues

This purchase replaced a similar Sharp we purchased 20+ years ago. This new one is excellent and works great. It has new options not available in the older one. The great thing is that it fit perfectly in the area between wall cabinets and above the countertop.

Great Product

Had this at our last house and loved it. Just moved into our new house and had to buy it again!

Totally Dependable

This is our second one of the same model. The first one lasted 13 years with no problems at all. We basically used it every day and I also installed it myself. That’s why we bought the same as before.

It's a Gamble

Had to replace right after warranty expired.

Microwave

When it worked, it worked well. It stopped working within a year after we bought it. Fortunately Sharp seems to be willing to honor the warranty, but we're still without a microwave for the time being.

Solid microwave

I have used this brand/type of microwave from Sharp for years. I have had no problem with it except sometimes the rotation mechanism has gotten stuck. I try to clean it well in case that is it, and it doesnt happen often, but it is annoying. Otherwise, buttons are clear, heats well, doesnt take up alot of space

Over Counter

We started with this series some 22 years ago, and this will be our third, and we bought it as a backup. We simply take one down, off the wall bracket, and set a new one in. Our area gets a lot of power outage issues which fried the LCD screen in the original and is hard on the electronics generally. This series is great for us since it provides lighting over our coffee/prep counter.

Right Dimensions

Perfect for the space it had to go in. Use a silicone pad if your counter or cabinet is wood.

This is a piece of junk

This is our second Sharp microwave. Same one and same brand. Why you ask, it is the only one that fits that space. It stopped heating one month after we got it. We had someone come out and look at it. Couldn't tell us what was wrong with it. We eventually had to get a new one. Lasted a few months and then stopped heating. Do not buy Sharp products. They won't help you and you will have a non-working appliance. Super frustrated.

Direct replacement

This is a identical replacement of my original microwave which was purchased in 2004. It was just time to replace it.

Damaged product directly from manufacturer

Product came directly from manufacturer (Sharp). The box had been reused. The tape was a second amount of tape over the original that had previously been cut. The white foam protection was broken on the right side. The product quit working after one day. The door showed damage as if dropped and the chipped inside panel of the door showed damage as if it had been closed on a hard item. We are currently waiting for Lowes to work directly with the Sharp Sales Rep to get this microwave replaced. ...

Do not purchase

This microwave breaks more than anything I have ever owned.

Good oven, weak display

This is the only Over-the-Counter microwave I can find. All the other models are over-the-stove or countertop units. It works well and has a reasonable suite of features. The reason I gave it 4-stars is that I have two units and the display quit on both after 15 years. One oven was used regularly, while the other oven was probably used less that 50 times.
