Would Not RecommendI bought this more as a deburring tool. The actual tiny piece of metal to debur isn't worth the price. This is basically a overpriced depth gauge to mark a line indicating if you have your fitting deep enough. Just use a tape measure. Only "deburs" outside, not inside.

Would RecommendIt would be much better if it had something to deburr the inside of the pipe and not just the outside. I realize the seal is on the outside of the pipe, but I was piping into a flow meter which you want the keep the flow as laminar as possible.

Would RecommendYou don't need a tool with Sharkbite and pex. I've never used a device like this. But, since I was making many pex cuts I felt it was time to invest into one. I never realized how much prep I should have been doing. This tool bevels and levels the cut end. It also gives you a gauge so you know how far the pex should be inserted into the Sharkbite. Make using them idiot proof, IMHO.
