Laundry faucet box

I have used this in a remodel of my laundry area. The valves and connectors work fine but the box is kind of flexible and not as rigid as I would like.

Disappointed in Quality of the Mounting Box.

I asked the Lowe's associate in the plumbing section for an Oatley washer outlet box with PEX valves and didn't notice he had handed me the SharkBite washer outlet box with PEX valves. When I went to install it I immediately noticed the quality of the mounting box was inferior to what I was used to with the Oatley box. Easy to install. Very straightforward with a pex system.

SharkBite Washer Box

Good product. Box can be flimsy until water lines and drain is installed.

Best for in wall deployment

The casing is decent enough, though it needed some working to get the holes open for the pipes to fit through. The unit appears to be setup in a manner to be placed into the wall, but we actually had to place it on the wall instead. The connectors have worked good thus far and we have not had any issues out of it.

Excellent product, universal connection, sure cutoff ball valves with PEX connection made this product a dream to install.

Five more inches never felt so good!

I had supply lines that came a few inches out of the wall, and between that and the giant valves, my washer was nine inches off the wall in a cramped enough space. I put this box in, recessed into the wall even a little bit more, and was able to move the machine five inches back. I could have gone more but I was limited by how far back I could move the dryer... for now. PEX fittings are great, reliable, and very easy to work with. Highly reccomend!

Expensive compared to similar options at online sources or competition, but did the job.

Decent valves.

The valves are good quality, however box that house them is pretty flimsy. It is as advertised, and works well.

easy install

i am doing a remodel, and while i am not going to be using the box just yet, i already installed it. it was very easy to install, the only minor issue i had/have is the tabs that screw to the studs, after you install it and try to patch up the wall the tabs make the drywall stick out. need to eiter find a thinner drywall to patch with or try to shave some drywall i already have.
