What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these window well covers for their heavy-duty construction and durability, noting they are significantly sturdier than previous thinner models. Most report the covers fit properly over window wells and effectively keep out debris, rain, and critters. Reviewers consistently highlight the value, with many viewing this as a long-term investment that outlasts cheaper alternatives. A few note the plastic becomes brittle after one to two years in direct sunlight, and some mention screws are not included. Overall, customers strongly recommend the product for reliable protection.

Would RecommendI've used Maccourt plastic window well covers for years, but I always got a different model (Model #W4217). This one (Model #W4419) is about the same size -- maybe just a bit larger -- but this one says "heavy-duty" and it really does seem noticeably more heavy-duty. I'll have to see how it holds up to sun and weather, but so far I am pleased.

Seems like a temporary fix
Would RecommendIt's cool, not very strong. I bought it to make a cat shelter in my basement window well. It seems like it should last a couple of years.
