Loading new line is so simple
Would RecommendRemoving the top cover of the head was a bit challenging because the side tabs that release it were difficult to push in with my fingers. Once off, installation was simple. Threading the string through the head was not as easy as the YouTube video shows. In addition to ensuring the bump knob arrows aligned with the holes, I had to push down on the bump knob before the string would thread all the way through to the other side hole. Nice item but won't work on a Stihl
Well I tried everything to make it work on my Stihl and none of the things that were in the package fit. I spent a good hour just trying to make it work. The closeted fit part had a different thread then my weed eater so none of the parts worked. I'll be returning it shortly.

Took a few minutes to get the correct parts to fit. Unfortunately it left a large gap at the top of spool. High grass easily gets wound around shaft and clogs. I'm working on a solution.

Like that it will hold a lot of string. However even though it said it was compatible with my Troy Built. It was not a simple plug and play per say with included hardware. I had to use my own bolt in combination with what was provided for it to be snug on my weed eater.
