What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this trimmer line for exceptional durability and value. Most highlight its strength and longevity, with many reporting spools last up to 50% longer than alternatives. Reviewers consistently note it outperforms comparable lines during heavy use on thick weeds and edging. The 0.065-inch diameter fits multiple trimmer brands seamlessly. A dominant theme is cost savings—customers find refilling existing spools significantly cheaper than buying pre-wound cartridges. Many appreciate the ease of winding and installation. A few report brittleness issues, but these represent isolated cases. Overall, reviewers consider it a worthwhile, economical choice.

Would Not RecommendI bought Shakespeare geared trimmer line .065 x 100’ to refill my ryobi trimmer. Immediately noticed it wore very quickly, More so than other brands I have purchased. I am not impressed with the “ great durability” claim on the package and will not be buying it again.
It's good string.
Would RecommendI try to string my own spools and like this.

Good replacement option for 0.065 in line
Would RecommendGood replacement trimming line. 100 ft spool means less waste than a shorter length spool.
