Product not “universal”!

This product was not “universal”! It did not fit my Troy-Bilt trimmer, even though it said it would. None of the nuts were the correct size. I had to use a nut from an older part and 1/2 inch spacers.

Broke fast

Used twice and the plastic teeth completely broke off. Get a more solid metal type weed-eater head. Wasted money.

Better than I expected

Bought this to start clearing out some.e overgrowth around the property. I was actually impressed with the job it did. It does have a learning curve to keep from getting the tall grass wrapped around the head, but I learned if i go slow at the base of the grass and then let off the gas every so often and use the head to "sweep" the cut grass out if the way, it really minimized it getting tangled. Cleared this area around the barn pretty easily

Don’t waste your money.

It broke to pieces the first time I used it. It is not worth $20.00. This is junk.

Not efficient poorly planned

Easy to install . You will spend more time unwrapping grass & weeds from the space above the trimmer head . There is to much dead space & what you are trimming will continually wrap into that space & shut down the trimmers ability to spin freely .

I was having a lot of trouble with some thicker weeds using the standard string head on my trimmer. I bought this, not sure if it would work, but it is like night and day. Cuts through the thick patches of weeds REAL quick compared to the string. If you are cutting against a wooden fence line, or another hard surface, watch out because this head will make cuts into that surface very easily. I figure I will get the bulk of the weeds with this head, then switch out for the string to do less da...
