Greats for thick weeds and lights brush.

This cutter makes short work for thick stalk weeds but will not replace a string trimmer for detail work. Parts of my property don't get regular attention and the weeds grow too thick for my string to cut through. This blade style cutter slices them down with ease and at part-throttle even. But... it does not mulch up like a string. I plan to use this to drop heavy growth then follow up with string to tidy up. For $20 I was skeptical but I figured if it's no good I'm only out 20 bucks. So far I've only used it once so we'll see how it holds up. I was shocked how well it performed! I now a little over an acre with a drainage ditch on the backside. it was knocking down 4 foot grass and brush with no problem, much of the brush was about the size of a nickel in diameter. I used it attached to a commercial grade stihl and couldn't be happier, especially for the price!

This attachment is amazing for the price and tackled the thicker brush, grass & weeds without a problem. I purchased additional blades and glad i did because ill need to replace them after i spent hours handling the overgrown areas of my property!

Dislike adapters on wrong DeWald trimmer wrong

Bought this at Lowes to be used on my Homelite weed trimmer, which is on the list of machines that it would fit, "wrong". Took the machine apart and after a while, found out the product comes with "metric" bolts and nuts and my equipment is standard, after a while also found out that the nuts and bolts that come with this junk, has counter clockwise threads. Then I decided to use it on my Ryobi weed trimmer, which is metric and had the same problem, the threads on this junk don't fit that either...

I installed the blades on my Husqvarna 125L weed eater in about 10 minutes. I ran it very hard in wooded area for about 4 hours. It cut through briars and 1/2 inch limbs with ease. I actually cleared about 70 yards of under growth with ease and I was very happy with the products function.

DOES NOT FIT

When purchasing the ego weedeater this univeral head is suggested as an add on. IT DOES NOT FIT. The bolts are wrong the ego has a metric shaft and the bolts are sae.
