What Customers Are Saying
The safe is well-built, sturdy, and provides reliable and quick access to a handgun through its biometric fingerprint reader and backup keypad/key entry options. It is large enough to hold a full-size handgun and extra magazines, and customers generally find it easy to set up and use. However, some users report inconsistent performance of the biometric reader and potential issues with the gas strut mechanism over time.

Disappointed. Expect better quality
Would Not RecommendI like the safe but was disappointed and shocked at how fast the gas strut went bad. Even more surprised that manual states if safe doesn’t open due to strut, use a magnet. Certainly would not want this to happen in the event you need to access the safe in a hurry.

Great safe with poor biometrics.
Would Not RecommendI like the safe but the biometric component is hard to program. I could only get it to work by using the secondary method.

Biometric Pistol Safe - Excellent Safe!
Would RecommendThe Biometric Pistol Safe is fantastic! The fingerprint reader on the safe works extremely well and is very reliable in allowing very quick access to your firearm. Yet the safe is 'solidly' built and offers firearms owners an excellent means of controlling access to their handgun(s).

SentrySafe never lets me down!
Would RecommendIt goes without saying that SentrySafe ALWAYS provides such top-notch products. This gun safe is no different. The quality of the safe meets my high expectations. All features work according to design (biometrics, code and key). I love the added light feature. This could be handy if I have to access the gun safe in the middle of the night. It will allow me to see what I'm doing without turning on additional lights. GREAT FEATURE SentrySafe!
