Great Safe For The Price

It is large enough to hold everything we had in our safety deposit box and more. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, is it was missing some of the clips to install one of the shelves and I had to contact customer service to have them sent to me.

Good Replacement Safe

This safe is replacing a safe by a different manufacturer that was damaged in an attempted break in. It is similar in size and more secure. We have only had it installed for a few days, but it works well and is easy to program the access code. It also has a backup access code per the manufacturer and two keys. My only complaint is that the fire rating is 30 minutes instead of the 60 minutes of our previous safe. The price is reasonable.

Very Good Value

We really like the safe. It is strong, secure and large enough to hold the documents we need to protect. The new/rubber like smell inside is a little too much but I hope that will fade with time. The door is very heavy which makes it harder for me to close. I have to put my whole body into it to close the door and then turn the handle to latch it but although that is a bit hard for me it shows the good strength and security that the safe has.

Upgraded to a bigger safety box and it’s worth it. A lot of stuff can be protected. Glad we made it and the price is so affordable.

Excellent Safe! No problems here!

This is an excellent large safe. I am upgrading from a smaller safe of this same brand that I owned for many years. Opened, new code programmed within 15 minutes. The smell many are complaining about is from the NEW MATERIALS inside the safe. This is absolutely normal. Simply leave the door open for a bit and the new smell will dissipate more quickly. Shelves are very easy to adjust to desired height. Very secure and spacious. I am very happy with this purchase. Money well spent.

ONLY WATERPROOF IF BOLTED TO NON FLAMMABLE FLOOR

For the price point the safe seems to be of good quality. I got it without knowing that the only way it could be water proof is if it were bolted to a concrete floor. The only place I can put my safe is in the basement, and if there were a fire hope the basement filled with less than 12" of water. If this were to be bolted to wood you run the risk of the wood burning off of the anchors which would then allow water, heat and gases to penetrate the inside as the anchors would then be loose on t...

Safe

Safe would not open with combination or key. Called Sentry and they sent a solenoid to replace. It still didn't work and Lowe's allowed the return and picked up for a full refund.

Good safe. I was hesitant about the electronic keypad vs the dial ones. But after some research I'm convinced it's safer.

Door Handel became disengaged and not operable!!!

Last night I went to open my Sentry Safe and the door handle became disengaged and I could not open my safe!!!!
