I bought 7 bags of this BLACK mulch to replace mulch in a tree ring that has landscape curbing around it. The color matched my other tree rings, however, I noticed that there was a good bit of mold in the mulch! I don’t like that, but it seems all bagged mulch has mold in it. Why?? Is it old, or is it because you keep the bagged mulch outside where the rain gets at it? It should be kept dry! Some bags get broken or holes in the bags, so yes, the moisture gets inside!
