Would RecommendI applied this seed on well-cultivated soil in areas of my lawn that had been killed by traffic from a tree removal project. I used a Scotts hand and applied according the instructions in the Fall just before several days of rain. I started seeing grass emerging within a few days. Would RecommendThis product works fine, but I had intended to buy straight grass seed therefore the coverage area is much smaller as the bag includes fertilizer and absorbent material etc. I believe the packaging is very misleading as the fact that the bag includes fertlizer etc is hidden in very thin font and is barely readable from a few feet away.
