Subpar top soil, quality has degraded over years
Would Not RecommendI bought this product for seeding some bare spots in my lawn this year. This year I noticed it required significant work to break down further in order to be spread evenly and not clump up. Also contains a number of plastic debris inside that got picked out. Overall would not recommend this if you are working on large lawn project, go to your local landscape supply store to get the top soil in bulk, which comes much better screened and less compacted.

Would Not RecommendI’m really disappointed with this mulch. It is much more grayish in color than black, so it does not have the rich, dark appearance I was expecting. It also contains a lot of large pieces of bark and wood rather than being a more uniform mulch. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look very attractive in my flower beds, and I would not purchase this mulch again.

Would Not RecommendI purchased 6 bags and every bag had shredded plastics pieces! So upset at Scott’s! That is how they are getting rid of there operations plastic waste! They are shredding it and mixing it into the soil. Also, as a filler to increase weight while reducing soil. Argh!
