The Spreader design is exceptional and used with ease. Its light durable steady efficient and quality. I enjoy the distance of the spreading of fertilizer/weed killer and how it reaches the square footage of my yard. I highly recommend this product to all and know its capabilities.

Only used once. Wire snapped before second use.

Only used this one time and it worked great until trying to use it for second time. Pulled the handle to release product and wire snapped. No replacement parts available to repair either. Waiting to see how the warranty works.

Good tool

Worked pretty well. Only used one time. Little pricey but I’ll need and use more now.

Leaves Stripes in lawn

Due to the wheel construction, fertilizer gets trapped in the ridges and then dumped on the lawn as your push. This leaves tracks and stripes wherever you push it.

worked for 1 application

worked 1st time used spreader and then spinner drive started working intermittently giving an uneaven application. Spreader is not usable. Was cleaned and properly stored between use. Wheels and drive system is poor. Any warranty support is non existant through Scotts. Would not recommend this spreader.

Easy assembly, I like the edge setting (super helpful), feels a bit chintzy and there were no instructions or other user materials included with the product (even though it's pretty straightforward).

I received a used item

This item was used by someone else and returned to Lowes. When I ordered it online Lowes sold it to me. I received it all dirty inside and out and paint scratched off on handle.

Works really well for a little while, then you're stuck jerry rigging any repairs

Do better Lowe's

Received a "new" spreader that certainly looks worse than the 20+ year old spreader that I'm trying to replace. My old spreader's frame is almost rusted through and don't want to push it until it completely falls apart, so ordered this. Arrived covered in bird droppings and already heavily rusted hopper bolts and handle

Works well

Need to be priced lower. Its just cheap plastic.
