Strong tape without nails or screws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Double-Sided Mounting Tape is an excellent option for mounting items without the need for nails or screws. It’s a strong and easy to use solution that has proven reliable in various projects. I’ve used it to hang lightweight photo frames and secure small shelves, and it consistently delivers satisfactory results.

Attaching magnets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to mount magnets to a lighting fixture so that it could be attached to metal objects but not form a permanent mount and be movable. This tape attached easily, was easy to trim and provided a good connection.

Your imagination can go wild with uses for this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed something to tack down our carpet on the porch. The regular carpet tape wasn’t strong enough so we decided to try the Scotch Double-Sided Extreme Mounting Tape. Since it would be used on the porch and would be getting wet we went with the highest strength. The cats are out there running around and the carpet kept sliding up causing bubbles. Since putting this under the carpet it has held in place with no problems. Even when wet t...

Super sticky!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch-Mount™ Extreme Double-Sided Mounting Tape is just what is needed around our household. It will hold down carpets, help hang some fragile items and comes from a brand we trust. It is super sticky!

Small but Mighty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Scotch-Mount™ Extreme Double-Sided Mounting Tape to hang some tools for ready access in my garage. The tape was easy to use, and seems to be holding well. I like that it is removable, although I have not tried that yet. I can see this being very useful to hang a variety of things, especially if you don't want to commit to a permanent placement.

Great for a variety of sheltered surfaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heavy duty mounting tape is great for indoor or under shelter, but I will choose another solution if you need complete weather resistance or if you are mounting heavy objects. I liked that it can be used for a varity of surfaces.

Strong hold, easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got it for free to review the product. Great for home and school projects, and it never disappoints. It holds strong on smooth surfaces like painted walls, glass, and metal. I used it to hang small shelves, hooks, picture frames, and even a mirror – all without any nails or mess. The tape is easy to cut to size, and the adhesive is incredibly durable. It’s held up well through humidity and even some accidental bumps.

Great tape, works as expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great so far. I used it to mount some broom holders, both inside the garage and outside by the patio. The tape mounts well on both smooth and slightly bumpy surfaces. The tape does not seem very sticky to the touch, but adheres very well once mounted. I haven't had an opportunity to use it on heavier items yet, but I am optimistic it will handle the job based on my prior experience with 3m products.

Great Hold for Outdoor Mounts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product for outdoor use. Placed a small amount to hold a truck liner small section down. Section has held with no issues and remains held. No problems with product not holding. Great product for multiple uses!

Strong hold on my golf cart

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used Scotch Mount tape to attach my garage door opener to my golf cart—it's held up great even with sun, heat, and humidity. Other things I've tried got tacky and the opener shifted after a day in the sun, but this one hasn’t budged. I'm going to use it again.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to put up an organizer for my hair tools. I needed something that is not permanent and it worked great. It has been holding for about a month and have not had any problems. Works exactly how it states and is holding up great.

Super strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] VERY strong mounting tape. Great for indoor projects as well as outdoor projects where it needs to withstand all types of weather conditions. Be careful what you apply this to, you'll never get it back off (ensure accuracy before sticking it down!)

Best option to secure items to the wall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to secure and mount a multiplug outlet to my wall. I had used other products but they did not secure the outlet. This product has kept the outlet securely attached to the wall. The product was easy to use.

Sticky and Strong!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm finding more and more household uses for this extreme mounting tape! I received a sample to review, and ordering more for backup. Recently I purchased a 4 pack of outdoor hanging solar lights and refused to put any holes in my vinyl siding. I decided to use two to three strips of this super sticky tape on each light and they have held up outside on my home for almost 2 weeks now and we've had rain multiple days! This tape is very strong and...

Very Useful Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a full sized product of Scotch Mount Double-Sided Mounting Tape Extreme from 3M to review. First off, it was lighter (weight wise) than I thought it might be. The tape itself is more like a thin foam, which is nice. The tape comes in a roll where both sides have adhesive, but one side has a red protective tape that is peeled off for application. The tape has no perforation, so it is cut to whatever size is needed. I actually used thi...

Extreme is an understatement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure it would work to hang my grilling utensils on my outdoor grill, but it did! It’s not near direct heat but it is on metal, outside and on a surface that definitely gets hot. So far it has been two weeks and the grill has been used six times and there’s been no change from the day I hung the hook using the Extreme Tape. The photos show it after two weeks of using the grill which in addition to the heat includes taking the cover on a...

Great adhesion that really works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has a great adhesive that sticks really well and seems to maintain its hold. Often when you need something that is removable but needs to hold more than three to five pounds it is often an inferior product.

Durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to make an electrical cord stay in place outside. It was durable and strong enough in the heat but once it got slightly wet out, it came underdone. I did like it overall than most products.

Extreme Mounting Tape was great and worked well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Extreme Mounting Tape worked very well when we used it to put up a older in our garage. We live in Florida and it gets very hot so this product has been very helpful. I put up 2 days ago and is still up.

Stuff Really Sticks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mounted a sign that weighs approximately 7 pounds and so far it had held with no problems. Extremely impressive. I’ve also used the product to stick art onto the walls, and other things like smoke detectors from the ceiling.
