Removing liner
Not a single method described above really works. If you get lucky after a half hour, you have already half of the (expensive) tape wasted. It is unbelievable that a company like 3M found a solution for this nuisance..

Not good for outdoor on smooth material.
So I purchased this two sided tape to mount a very light plastic clip on a smooth aluminum screen enclosure railing. The directions stated it would adhere. I'm in florida with terrible humidity and I'm guessing it just couldn't stand up to it. I haven't tried it inside.I'm betting. It would work much better without the humidity. The adhesive is extremely sticky.

Unfortunately Did Not Work For Me
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used 3M VHB tapes before with success so was looking forward to trying this out, but unfortunately it did not hold. I'm not sure what caused the failure -- whether it was the material it was supposed to adhere to o...

Disappointed
Would RecommendThe two sides tape is way to use. I used the tape to secure my truck light to the mount. I noticed it only last of a couple days.

Great sticky tape, no matter the weather!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Scotch Mount Extreme Double-Sided Mounting Tape in exchange for my honest review. The tape itself is black, although the sticker paper protecting the sticky side is red. It is about 1mm thick and very sticky. I used it to supplement the items hanging in my home, from lightweight paper to a 5lb branch ornament in the bathroom. It is holding well, even with the water, and humidity in the bathroom. I plan to use it outside, as well, fo...
