Would RecommendSo this is a good quality product that was easy to install. With one of the doorknobs I was able to do an easy swap out, The other required some mortising to make it fit, but that was due to the usual design of the old one I replaced.

Would RecommendThis is a great product. The hardest part was just trying to get the screws in because you have to hand twist them most of the way in before you can fit a screw driver in well enough to finish the job. But it installed quickly and looks nice.

Not up to the quality Schlage used to be.
Well, it does the job. But as a long-time Schlage lockset customer, I am disappointed with the much cheezier feel to their current offerings. I guess that is true of everything these days. But I seriously doubt this lockset will last 20 to 25 years as Schlage did in the past.

Would RecommendThe unit is fine, but a Lowe’s guy rekeyed it to fit my key and it doesn’t stay locked, so I need to take it back to get it fixed.

Would Not RecommendNot even the least expensive doorknob, but lasted exactly 63 days. Now the doorknob will not lock. The locking mechanism just spins around and around. Pretty pathetic. I have never had a doorknob lock "break". Contacted Lowes about a return. Nope past 30 days. Waste of $32.00.

Okay, but not what I was looking for
Would RecommendNot what I was looking for but was all Lowe’s had to offer that would work. I wanted a keyed entry lock with no thumb button (always requires a key to open; cannot be left unlocked - electrical closet) but Lowes didn’t have one. This will work fine; I always choose Schlage whenever I need a lockset.
