What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the sand for its fine texture, affordability, and suitability for children's sandboxes, with most noting kids love playing with it. Many also use it for practical purposes like weighting umbrellas, leveling lawns, and filling garden areas. However, some report excessive dust, small rocks, or moisture in bags, which affects consistency. Despite these concerns, most customers feel they received fair value and consider it a reliable, versatile product for both play and practical applications.

Low Cost Sand
Would RecommendI bought this product because we needed sand for our son's sandbox, but didn't want to have to pay a lot of money for it. This is a great low cost option, and it has worked well for us.

Do not buy
Would Not RecommendThis sand is horrible. Not only is the dust overwhelming (which doesn’t go away with time), but it has silica added. I also learned there is a prop 65 warning on it. The silica is a known carcinogen.

Sand around burial water-line in rocky soil.
Would RecommendI purchased this sand to fill in around new water line installed as a protective burial to keep the rocks away from the water line, especially at all connections and 2-cutt off.

Filler project
Would RecommendI bought the sand to use as a weight added to a couple of projects. I used it as a compact solid in some weights that are for the canopy that we use in some displays. I also used it in filling a plastic owl to be put around our house in different locations. It was very fine sand making it easy to pour and use.

Clean product
Second time I picked up these bags of sand for my grandchildren. Nothing exciting, but sand looked clean in the bags. I will be back for more as the year continues.
