What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this sand for its effectiveness as winter ballast in truck beds, with most highlighting how the heavy 60-lb bags significantly reduce slipping on icy and snowy roads. Many report using multiple bags to stabilize pickups and Jeeps, emphasizing consistent performance and ease of use. Beyond vehicles, reviewers appreciate its versatility for spreading on driveways, filling holes, and creating base layers. A small group notes the woven bags tear easily during unloading, and a few mention the rounded grains provide less traction than coarser materials. Overall, customers consider it a reliable, affordable winter safety solution.

Customer Service was terrible ( Curb Side )
Would RecommendHonestly, The product was just as it should be, a tube of sand. I ordered on line for curbside pick up, they emailed me, I pulled up and waited in stall #6 and i waited.... and waited some more, I then went inside to see how much longer and I waited at the service desk for someone to help me. It wasn't that anyone was rude it was there wasn't anyone! I decided ot leave and come back the next morning for the pick up. This is nothing new with our local Lowes. The management needs to schedule more ...

It's a sand bag.
Ugh, this item is as heavy as described. The fabric casing seems to be of good quality and of a durable nature. Item form fits to surface very well.
