Would Not RecommendI am not a novice user of spray paint. I followed the directions exactly including preparation. The paint came out with globules of darker thinker color on top of the regular color. It shook it repeatedly and tried again but no use. The can itself had paint all over. My project was a mess as were my gloves and the can. I read the reviews and everyone said it was great. Not for me. This was can two as I returned the first thinking the nozzle was defective. I have never had this kind of problem wi...
can't go wrong with Rustoleum
Would Recommendhave tried other brands, cheaper, spray paints, keep going back to Rustoleum because of quality. Have to buy 2 cans of other brand, for every one can of Rustoleum

Beautiful finish!
Would RecommendNice thick coat to give that "beautiful finish" easily. I have also purchased other colors in the Hammered finish.

Hammered Copper Rustolium Paint
Would Not RecommendI sprayed new aluminum facia pre-installation. I also put the paint on a new entry door as well as the old garage door. It improved the curb appeal greatly. I did condition the surfaces with a metal degreaser to ensure no flaking. This is an excellent product and is also available at Lowes. As you can see, the results look great. For the weekend worrier, two cans for the front door (3 coats over white primer) and 6 cans for the garage door (2 coats over a gray primer).

great for covering flaws
Would Recommendyou should do repeated coats, not one solid coat... if you're painting over gold-colored stuff, re-check in daylight/bright light... you WILL miss areas...I like hammered bronze & copper, covers flaws & gives "older" look to items. one can covers a fair amount of an area.

Worked well on primed wood
Would RecommendSo far so good, primed the plywood with white Rustoleum primer. Sanded wood, primer first coat, let dry, sanded to 320grit by hand, sprayed another coat, sanded, then sprayed a couple coats of the Hammered paint. It is hard to get a totally even coat, some spots appear a different texture than others. Nice hard smooth finish and I'm pleased and feel like it will be durable. We have used it previously without primer, but I feel like the paint goes further on primed wood.

Beautiful Copper finish
Would RecommendI bought this to spray terracotta pots for wedding favors. The color is beautiful and it has a very nice hammered finish. There is a bit of a silvery undertone, but that does help with the depth of color. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Can't go wrong with rustoleum
Would RecommendFirst of all, rustoleum paint is great. It covers well, and it's ability to contain rust makes it great. As for this particular paint; when I want something to look like metal, this is what I use. I even use it on metal to make the metal look better.LOL!

Worked Surprisingly Well
Would RecommendI was exceedingly skeptical of the claims of this when I first saw it in our store - how can rattle-can paint really give the appearance of hammered copper? Moreover, is the finished project something I would willingly display in my home? Skepticism aside, I picked up a can to spray paint one of those oversized cardboard letters that look fancy on the wall. It really works well. It does give the appearance of hammered copper somewhat - like copper with hammered texture in places. The overall ef...
