Worst instructions EVER!!!!

You guys couldn’t write instructions on how to open a paper bag instructions on this unit show nothing about how it actually works or as assembled I had to look at your website to see that the center section actually pushes up through the hole in the top. otherwise there’s nothing that explains it, that is a total fail what is the use of having a disposable item that ends up getting destroyed before it’s even used you should take your people that write the instructions and fire them

I've never caught a yellow jacket

I am on my fourth bag. I have never caught a yellow jacket. I've caught Beatles and a fly here and there. Very disappointed in this product. The WHY yellow jacket traps are much better

Yellowjacket trap

My yard has tons of yellowjackets and not 1 single yelowjacket has gone into either of the traps. The fly catcher works great.

Forget this

What in the world. These might be the worst framing instructions I’ve ever seen on something. this was the biggest piece of junk I’ve bought in a long time

Very efficient and effective, it was full. I ce yellow jacket season was over and it dried a bit, it filled again with flies.

Incredible - they work great!

We have a huge problem with yellow jackets (and paper wasps) every summer at our house in Oregon. The moment we put these out, we literally see swarms within 30 minutes. It really helps cut down on the population. We catch so many we have to put out new ones because they fill up. So easy to prepare - just add water. We buy them every summer! Will probably try the wasp stick trap this year as well for the paper wasps. This product is a must buy!

Quality Control is "0"

Just bought this at the local box store, hd. Followed the instructions opened the top, made a nice hook for it, poured in the powder, followed by the water, and watched the bag pee dry in 10 minutes. Corner of package wasn't sealed, so I now probably have a dead spot in my yard, and a expensive puddle. Oh and hd wouldn't take it back since it was now wet.

Put apple juice inside to experiment with and it works better than when i tried one before.

make sure you hang it away from anywhere you want to be , we had a few but not too bad ,hung this up quickly turned into dozens all afternoon , by the am THERE WAS A SOLID 1.5 INCHES OF FLOATING DEAD WASPS IN THE TRAP !!!!

Great for camping

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This yellowjacket trap is a life saver whenever we go camping because they always swarm when I am cooking and it is a pain to fight them off. I put a string in it and hung it in a nearby tree and all the yellowjackets swarmed it and trapped in it over minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i go camping a lot so this would be something I would recommend buying you can never be too careful with insects so you want to always make sure you are safe. easy to use and put anywhere. i recommend it to put it anywhere especially if you dont know what area you are .

Dont' waste your money

After a week, not one yellow jacket has gone inside. They fly around it, land on top of it, and one even started to go down the shoot but came back out. Very disappointed!!

Doesn’t not work.

I bought this about a month ago at Home Depot. I place it about 15ft away from where I have a lot of yellow jacket on my front door. It doesn’t work at all

Highly disappointed

Even though the title of this review is for "Western" I would like to reflect on the "Eastern" version. I purchased this trap a week ago, placed it in numerous areas around my property and not one yellowjacket. Directions were performed exactly. Unfortunately there are still many yellowjackets swarming and none of them prefer your trap. I am greatly disappointed in your products usefullness and will not purchase again.

This is a must have!

Just fill up the trap with regular water till the indicated level, attach a string and hang it from a tree at least 20 feet away from any doors and just watch. Within 2 hours of putting up this trap, we had at least 15 yellowjackets trapped. Really impressed. It does not impact bees. My backyard is free of yellowjackets

Waste of Money

Would give zero stars. Based on the great reviews, we purchased two traps - one for the front of the house and one for the back. Placed them approx 10 feet from the yellow jacket nests, 3 days later - nothing. Moved one trap to within 3 feet of a nest, 1 week later, still nothing. Yellow jackets buzz on by, I think I heard them laughing.

So far not great feature

I put mine out at 10pm hoping to catch the morning yellow jackets and I don't have 1in it and now it's 3pm. So maybe I'm doing something wrong I don't know.

No yellow jackets caught

I literally hung this 5 feet from the nest then right beside it and caught ZERO.
