Glue or screw the post cap to the post.

The post cap is made from a thin sheet of aluminum that is shaped into a pyramid. Because it has no holes, I drilled a hole in one side and screwed a screw through the hole into the post to secure the cap to the post. Now the posts look complete. The cap makes the post decay slower.
