Perfect Cap for the Finishing touch…Needed something to dress up this 4x4 post to give a finished look and to protect the post’s top from the environment. Perfect fit and nice finish

Replaced an old post cap today. Very simple to install this new cap and looked great. Was in the shade the whole time so glue selection and application was simple. No nails or screws required.

Perfect to cap off your project

Nice powder coat finish and look like they will hold up to the NorCal weather. It ads a nice finishing touch to your project and not that expensive. And these will protect your 4X4 post tops from rotting from the rain and sun over time.

Beautiful shiny black finish. Best way to install?

I was hoping to use these on my cedar fence, but being a novice about fences, I thought these would slip over the post - they do not. They're actually a bit smaller than 4"x4" so they sit on TOP of the post. The instruction say to glue them on, but I was a little wary about doing that. What if I want to remove them later? There's also a small tab inside, not mentioned in the instructions, so maybe that can be used to attach them somehow? Overall, I think this would look nice on most decks or fen...

Does the job

Simple black metal deck post cap. Sturdy built and measures 3.74” x 3.74”. I unfortunately ordered the wrong size for my 6” post, so forgive the pictures and how small it looks on my post. It will fit your wood post just fine. Nice paint job to give it years of service. I was looking to get rid of my solar corner post lights which keep flooding.

Pleased with product and easy to put into place

Great product

This is a great product that adds atmosphere and elegance to my fence. I saw that the triangular shape makes my fence look more expensive, and more put together. Overall, I greatly enjoyed this for boosting appearance and definitely recommend if you are searching for something that adds a bonus element to your yard’s environment.

Cap review

The product was a 4x4 metal decorative post cap. I installed this on the post for my gate. It completely changed the way the gate and fence looked. The only thing that I found concerning was that there was no way to secure the cap to the post. This was the only thing that I found wrong and bad with the the product.

Deck post cover

Needs to have a way to secure to posts???. No holes?....a loop inside but not sure what it was designed for. Good enamal paint coverage for weather protection but would have to have holes drilled for securing and this would compromise the paint coverage

Attractive cap that should protect post top.

It is a nice looking cap that looks well made. Must be glued on, so that means no leaks from the top. I am a bit concerned that the metal won't hold up to the marine environment where I live. I mainly want the caps to protect the tops of my posts from water sinking into the post, so I hope it holds up.
