What Customers Are Saying
The poplar boards were generally of good quality, with customers finding them straight, smooth, and suitable for various woodworking projects. However, some customers reported issues with warping, cupping, and uneven edges. While many were satisfied with the boards, especially when able to carefully select the best pieces, a few felt the quality did not justify the price. Overall, the feedback on the product's features and usability was mixed.

Good Project Wood
Would RecommendPurchased the 24” x 12” x 3/4” poplar for a frame project which has turned out well. Being a soft wood it was easy to plane and circular route to the dimensions required for the ptoject.

Double check length and straightness before buying
I needed two boards at 36”, so I bought a 6’ board. A 6’ board is generally 1/4” longer than 6’. When I got home and measured the board, it was a 1/2” shorter than 6’. Took it back and got another that 1/4” longer than 6’. Got it home and it was warped so badly it was not useable. I took it back and went to a lumber yard.

For nicer projects
Would RecommendVery good board with no defects. The wood is a little softer than I expected but I have never worked with poplar before so that is likely why!

Way over priced
This pine lumber costs 3 times the going rate charged by lumber yards.

Drawer face
Would RecommendNice poplar product that I used for drawer faces. Ordered two. Needed to cutoff about 4" from one board to remove uneven surface. Other than that, item is as expected.

Finding good boards takes work
Would RecommendNeeded to sort through bin of poplar to find board that was not cupped nor slightly twisted. Board I selected was true dimensional lumber that did not need planing but for price, quality of wood is lacking.
