Well made,solid,looks very nice!

Durable and easy to assemble

The mailbox is durable, easy to assemble and has some curb appeal. My only minor gripe is the included support bracket; which is underneath the plate where the mailbox rests. The bracket feels a bit too lightweight to securely support larger, heavier mailboxes. Other than that, it's a solid product!

Did not line up with bolt holes on box.

It looks like wood from a distance. Have received compliments on how well it looks. I am satisfied with my purchase/

We've got the prettiest mailbox on the street.

This was easy to install since we knew to buy a 4x4 treated post to install first to fit the steel post over. Make sure the plate that holds the mailbox is really tight before you screw down the mailbox. It's a little painstaking to install the screws inside the box and took us two people to do it. Otherwise, it was a piece of cake for two senior citizens to install.

Quality product

Quality design and very realistic wood looking mailbox holder. We insalled this today and was very easy to install.

Looks are key. Others are the post and box, not too exciting, add character to your home from the front to rear. Start with the mailbox your style.

Bracket not Replaceable

If your UPS driver rips your mailbox off the bracket and the bracket is unusable there is no way to get a replacement bracket unless you buy a whole new post. The predrilled holes in the arm of the post do not match up to the holes in the universal brackets that you can buy. Love the style though.

Worth $30 More than Same Wood Post Everyone Has!

Like other reviewers, I was annoyed to find I needed a 4x4 post after I got it home. Luckily, seriously, because going back to Lowes the same day because you forgot something is torture - we had 4 of them, at about 36" each so I immediately got to work digging the hole! Next, like other reviewers, I found it funny the instructions wanted me to hand tighten wood screws into a 4x4 stump before using a wrench!! Misleading packaging. But great looking product!

I love this product! I took off a Star because the packaging stated the only item not included in the box was the mailbox and states a post is included. When you open the package and read the fine print on the instructions it states the 4x4 wooden post needed (for inside the metal post sleeve-this is the part that will go in the ground) is NOT included. I really wish they would add in the “not included” section that so we, the consumer, would know what we would need to purchase for the job. So b...

Nice to look at, easy to assemble, universal mailbox mount. I do wish screws would be going into something a little bit thicker than just this thin metal. Hopefully will last for a while

Not easy to assemble

The instructions are miserable. Obviously poorly translated from a different language. "Don't use wrench until after hand tighten"- sounds great, except they're describing wood screws. Speaking of the screws, they're so soft of steel that the screw head strips (even without a wrench). You do have to put those screws into pressure treated wood- so they need to be stronger. I love the classy look of this mailbox post…like wood, but no worries about wood boring insects destroying it! Also, I am the only one on this street who has one like it!
