The price point is good on this deflector, and I would have rated it higher if the magnets were bigger ore stronger.

won't work on a slanted surface

I had to return this air deflector because, as it is designed, it won't hold to a slanted surface. The plastic part that holds the magnets keeps the magnets from attaching firmly to the slanted (about 20 degrees) surface that I wanted to attach it to. I've had another one attached to a wall mounted AC, but I used adhesive velcro to fasten it at the sides. That worked fine.

This product does not

This product doesn't work as advertised. The magnet are not strong enough to hold the product on the wall. It might work on the floor, but not on a wall. I wasted my money...

It works well on register too.

I am using it on a floor register from my forced air heat-pump/gas furnace to keep the air from blowing directly on the piano. It works well for this purpose. The magnets hold on to the metal register making installation effortless. The air flow is directed over the window above it which also helps minimize temperature variations on the piano from the window. I am happy with this application for this product.

Baseboard Air Deflector

This product does what I need it to do. I have an air duct out that blows air over me while I sleep. This deflector allows the air to flow without that happening. I wake up less congested because of it.

does the job - house so much warmer now

Well made. Best price around - half the price of the others with much better quality and great reviews. Strong magnets. Can be used to direct air upwards or like the picture has = away from curtains and things. Prompt shipment. Very happy with my purchase - got three and might order more for the other rooms. Makes a huge difference in the feel of the temp. in the rooms where installed. Placed directed upwards behind couch and night table. Placed like the photo under the curtains.

Don't hesitate

Don't hesitate on buying these! When I was in the store a few weeks ago they were selling a different brand of the same style. When I looked at the product it looked very thin and cheap - and I noticed all of their stock was broken and unusable. I notified the Lowe's employee and he apologized and thanked me for bringing it to his attention. He removed the broken pcs and said he would order more. Does the job

Our new drapes were being pulled tight over the cold air return vent. We needed a 24" cover to prevent this. Since it is not an in store stock item, we were happy to order from the web site and pick it up at the store. Problem solved! Note: This item has an adjustable length.

Easy to Install

I put up new sheers to my windows. Then I remembered why I had eliminated - heat ducks under windows, heat and air goes up behind curtains. Decided to fix and find something to divert the air. These really work great. Easy to install by senior woman. They have magnets that grip the metal heat vent. You may have to adjust the magnets to hold secure.
