Only for the specific vent style pictured.

I got this for an old, non-standard-sized floor vent (not the type pictured). 15 inches is the smallest interior measurement and the magnets are on the inside edges not the part that would sit flat to the floor. It probably isn't going to work for my application (a vent flush to the floor), but it seems to be decent quality and if I needed it for the type of vent pictured I would give this one a try.

Moved air to the room instead of behind the curtains. Somewhat flimsy so tape reinforcement might be necessary.

Great Way to Stay Warmer in Winter

Our old house has vents below almost every window, which is not exactly the most efficient setup. I originally bought these vent covers so I could close the curtains and keep more heat in when it gets very cold. I was very happy to find that they make the house feel warmer even when the curtains are open - I hadn't realized how much warm air must have been going right out our old windows! I purchased several of these months ago and recently went to purchase some more and the ones that I found one side of the item was defective and I made an associate aware of that..... it’s a manufacturing defect I went to another Lowe’s store the identical thing happened disappointing that I couldn’t pick up more

Horrible Design, Don't Buy This Ever !!!

The magnets fell off, the tabs to hold the magnet were cracked and the tabs wrap over the magnet so the magnet never touches the metal grate surface. We bought two sets, wow, this is one of the worst products I have ever had the sad fortune to buy from Lowes. Poor design, poor quality, not worth the $7.50 we paid for each one. I would give this no stars if I could, giving one star is being generous indeed.

Had one there before, and used in another room. Bought again to replace.

Perfect for those larger registers

Works great with those oversized registers in the pre 2000 homes. Fit my 18" register perfectly. Just a note the 15" is the minimum size the deflector goes. Extends up to about 30 inches. Works well.

Works. Barely.

Does what it is designed to do, but requires an extremely steady hand. The lip that holds the two pieces together has about 1 millimeter of overlap, so if you flex or deflect the pieces at all while trying to put in place or during use, it will fall apart.
