Would RecommendOverall good quality. The edges are a bit sharp and I could definitely see getting cut on the corners so it's advisable to inset this 1/8 - 1/4" from the edge of the door if possible. I thought about using the router to inset this into the door but decided against it due to being too busy. I can always do that in the future.
Great Lock
Would RecommendThere is no chain involved, only sliding a bolt over to lock it in the middle space. I have these on my back and front porch doors and they secure them very well. This lock does not give any and that's the protection I want for my family. Made to last and to protect.

Brass Slides
Would RecommendHad French doors that had the slide bolts inside the trim of the doors. Both were broken and modified these to work inside the door frame after slight modifications.
