Great Trim For The Money

I will just keep this short and sweet... this trim is worth the price. This was my first time ever dealing with baseboard trim and I have no complaints. It's MDF, so it's common sense if it gets wet it's going to warp/chip/etc. We love the fact that it's 5.25 inches tall, covers previous imperfections on our walls, and makes it POP! Would recommend/buy again. We didn't have any pieces not match up. Get a good miter saw, measure your walls, and cut!

Look for a local lumberyard

I don’t like MDF anyway but when I buy it I don’t shop at Lowe’s. I buy 16’ pieces for $6.24 each at my local lumberyard. And if I need it cut for hauling they cut it to length no problem! My local Lowe’s said they don’t cut material. I don’t know what their panel saw is for then. I returned this product to Lowe’s before I left their parking lot.

I like the style and the material is consistently flaw free. The problem I have is that it is MDF. The kids barely hit the corners where the base board comes together and it chips. It looks horrible. I can paint it but it is still chipped.

Great value and look

We easily painted a white paint on these baseboard and my husband is putting them up. They really updated our family room even though we have a wood fireplace and wood trim in between the kitchen and family room. I want to buy more and redo all the rooms now with this baseboard!

Really great baseboards

I am a designer and I use these baseboards in almost every home I design, including my own. They are beautiful, cost effective and hold up really well to wear and tear. Because they are MDF, they don't hold up super well to a ton of moisture, so if they are near a shower where water pools up, you may get some light bloating where the MDF expands. I have them in all my bathrooms and had this happen only near my master shower where I do get some puddling. Overall though, they are amazing.
