Would RecommendLowe's doesn't have the greatest selection of wood products/materials. This moulding seemed okay but you have to sort through damaged ones to find a good piece.

Would Not RecommendI am sure the unfinished pine shoe moulding would be fine to paint, but unfortunately after being properly prepared for stain ... it just doesn't stain well, even after multiple attempts.
