Ratings & Reviews for RELIABILT Mailbox Post Black Steel Flat Mount Mailbox Post
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the post's heavy-duty steel construction with galvanized finish and powder coating, emphasizing durability in harsh weather and ability to support heavier mailboxes without bending. Most highlight straightforward assembly with pre-drilled mounting plates, completing installation in under an hour. The sleek black matte finish and modern design enhance curb appeal compared to traditional wooden posts. Some note the 4'4" height falls short of USPS requirements when set in concrete, and a few experienced alignment issues between sections or missing hardware. Overall, reviewers consider it a reliable, attractive upgrade that exceeds expectations.

Would RecommendThis mailbox pole is heavy duty and feels like it will last a long time, I replaced a old wooden on with this and it is so much better. It was easy to install my mailbox on the top after getting the post set up
Concrete install problems
Would Not RecommendThe box says a concrete footer is recommended. I followed post setting instructions on Sakrete Fast Setting Concrete. It spins and wobbles in the hole since there's nothing for the concrete to grip to. Wouldn't recommend installing in concrete without modifying it.
New Mail Box
Would RecommendMailbox kit was easy to assemble and install. Used quick set concrete. Total assembly and install time about 30 minutes.

Strong pole
Would RecommendThe pole is solid and strong but the screw together seems weak and doesn’t seem to stay screwed well.

Nice for the price but too short
Would RecommendIt needs to be longer. We had to weld some to it to make it work. But it looks nice for the price.

Nothing to complain about this post with good pricing
Mailbox
Would RecommendProduct used in rural area. I liked the material used in this product. Product could be 8 inches longer for better strength. Not so stable with the mailbox full, it wings side to side.
Strong and sleek
Would RecommendI'm looking forward to using this mailbox post. I've just sold my home and will be buying a vacant lot to build my new home. Much better looking than an ugly 4 x 4 post. Sleek and strong
Cheap Plastic
Would Not RecommendNice heavy post with a cheap plastic bracket for mounting the mailbox. Returning it to the store.

Great Quality But Shorter Than My Old One
Would RecommendThis steel mount mailbox post is sturdy and great quality. Was well packaged and arrived in good shape. Easy to assemble. I like the black matte color. Now I have to buy a new mailbox to go with this great post because my last mailbox was damaged. I am concerned that I can't put this post as deep as my old one because it's shorter in overall length.
