Ratings & Reviews for Raid Yard Guard Mosquito Fogger 16 oz Outdoor Protection 12 Pack

Effective enough

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I've used this twice now to treat my backyard pool area in hopes of reducing mosquitoes prior to spending time out there. It's anecdotal, but I do feel it did the job of reducing the amount of flying insects that came to bug me (pun intended) both times. You've got to be mindful of where you're spraying for it to be effective. You're spraying into the air but with the intention of it settling on surfaces around where you'll be. A...

Great for my backyard flies

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Summer just started and all the flies and bugs are already around. Especially with the recent rain, mosquitoes are everywhere. My daughter loves to play outside, but I am fed up with all those flies. My backyard is not too small, so I cannot apply it everywhere, but in the small part of the patio, it works pretty well. It says it lasts for 6 hours, but I think the first 2 hours were the top performance. I even cooked BBQ without ...

Effective yard control against mosquitos

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I tested the raid yard guard in my backyard before my backyard work. I sprayed product and let it work for 20 minutes before heading out. I went out and took care of my landscaping and did not have issues with mosquitos like normal. I came back in unscathed. I'll be using this the next time I have projects outside.

Backyard Champion

I sprayed our patio and grilling area, about 30 minutes before we planned to celebrate Fathers Day with a BBQ. I was pleasantly surprised by the scent as it was a light floral and not at ALL offputting. We were able to enjoy our backyard and being together while not being eaten alive by mosquitos. A major win for us! I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.

Great for summer time bugs

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Upon using this product it certainly kills on contact. I do not feel it last as long as it says...6 hours. It worked great on flies. I would recommend this product.

Kills the mosquitoes

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is the best stuff to use before an outdoor party or when out camping. It clears the mosquitoes from where you are at so you can be outside comfortably.

Works well

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review . It didn't have a bad odor. It's kept the mosquitoes away for the time being. I enjoyed not having to smack every 5 secs

Good yard insect control product

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Raid Yard Guard Mosquito Fogger is highly effective in controlling mosquitoes and other insects in my yard. It's easy to apply and provides lasting relief from pests during outdoor activities. It also does a great job preventing the bugs from coming into the house. The smell is a little too strong in my opinion but since it is for outdoor use, it didn't bother me too much. Overall, it's a reliable choice for enjoying a bug-free o...

Mosquito Deterrent

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I ordered Raid Yard Guard in hopes it would prevent mosquitoes from attacking me each evening as I work in the garden. I was skeptical because it was a digger for the great outdoors. I sprayed the Raid fogger and waited 10 minutes before I went back outside. Not one mosquito bite! I was able to enjoy outdoors! I'm in love and will be buying more.

Great for the occasional mosquito relief

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. We have pretty bad mosquitos and I was skeptical about this product at first. I sprayed the shrubs surrounding our gazebo and deck and then went back inside to let it settle. It smells unexpectedly pleasant which was a little strange but better than the opposite. I read the directions and went to spray and couldn't get it to click in to place or something. It took me a few tries and I really had to push it down. Once I got it sta...

Helps

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Raid Yard Guard is a great way to prep your yard to help with mosquitoes. I like to use it about an hour before we have guest over to help control bugs in the area we will be in. I find that it definitely lessens the mosquitoes.

Effective and fast working

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The raid yard guard mosquito fogger worked well the sprayed area. It doesn't have a super strong smell. I sprayed the patio and mosquitoes stayed away. Great for covering small areas. After spraying I was able to sit outside and enjoy the evening. Thank you raid!

Worth a try

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. When I saw the word fogger, it made me think I was getting something I could set in the middle of the yard and it would fog the air. Instead, I had to hold the button down while walking all around the yard, which is fine, it just took more time and I'm not sure if I sprayed it evenly. Besides that, it did work. Mosquitoes usually swarm my daughter's backyard to the point of having to just go inside. We got to enjoy a few good hou...

I would buy it again

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The fogger worked well and discharged as stated in the directions. It's a great option for treating a small area for a few hours. It did help reduce the amount of mosquitoes that try to make a meal of me when I'm in the yard. worked great for the duration of our cookout. I would buy this again.

Works great!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. RAID's line of products have always worked well for me over the years, so I was excited to try their Yard Guard Mosquito Fogger. Firstly, it's a spray and doesn't work like a traditional fogger like you'd think by the name. Secondly, it works on lots more than mosquitoes: flies, non-biting gnats, small flying moths, wasps, hornets, and multi-colored Asian lady beetles. We live rurally on 10 acres with several small ponds and stre...

I would like to continue to buy this product

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review." I was not sure how to dispense the product at first. There was a little tab inside the spray nozzle that needed to be removed. Once that was gone it was very easy to dispose the product. I was surprised on how pleasant the scent was. I am used to bug sprays smelling very toxic. This is light and floral. I sprayed and noticed the flying insects all leaving the area and not returning.

Great Product!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Raid Yard Guard is a great product if you are looking for a solution to mosquitos. I sprayed it in our backyard before my kids and I went outside to play in the evening. I was pleasantly surprised by how much it helped deter mosquitoes. It was much more enjoyable to be outside. Raid Yard Guard is a more reasonable choice than having the hard sprayed for mosquitoes, too. Highly recommend!

Solid temporary solution

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I found this product to be effective but only temporarily. I sprayed before a family gathering and it definitely helped at first. By the end of the evening the bugs were back. I could not reapply with guests around. I will keep and use when the mosquitoes are really bad and I want to or need to be outside.

Worth it for a gathering.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Worked well at my south Mississippi bbq. Seemed to help with the usual inundation of bugs. A bit difficult to apply but helpful.

Highly Recommend

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. It has been very hot and muggy outside and sitting outside is not very pleasant because it's been kind of wet and there are a lot of mosquitoes. We tried this raid yard guard mosquito fogger outside where we were sitting and we're pleasantly surprised to discover that we were not being bothered by mosquitoes. I would highly recommend this.
