This is good value, and a nice blade, I didn't care for how the knife balanced in my hand. I gave it to a friend of mine who is learning how to cook and he loved it.

My newest Rada knife
I was very excited to receive this knife. It already feels like it's not very sharp , as in hard to slice through peppers, etc. My other Rada knives have remained sharp through years of use. I wash it by hand and always put it back in its sleeve between uses. What am I doing wrong? I want to recommend it as I love the rest of my Rada knives but I'm not really happy with it.

Cook's Knife
This is my go to knife for vegetable prep. I use it over very expensive knives all of the time.

My cabbage knife
The Cook's Knife is the one I use to cut raw cabbage and to chop cilantro-- two very different tasks. It seems more heavy duty than my Slicer and works great on heads of cabbage. The slightly curved blade makes it easy to mince fresh cilantro, etc. The size is very versatile, bigger than many but not too big. I buy the black handles in case they get put in the dishwasher, although hand washing is probably best for any sharp knife. (Don't put the silver handles in the DW!) I've used Rada paring k...

Hands down the best kitchen knife we've ever used. Theis knife is well-balanced and razor sharp. I always envied those with good knife skills- as it turns out, we've just had inferior knives. I was actually able to cut an onion without my eyes burning and watering. Even my husband was impressed enough to insist we replace all of our existing kitchen implements with Rada. We've just placed an order to do just that.

Easy to handle
I bought the silver handle tomato slicer. I bent the point on my current knife so this knife replaces it. My old tomato slicer had the black steel resin handle and it's also easy to hold and handle. I decided to try the brushed steel. I think it is even easier to hold but both are great. I added the small paring knife and it is also an excellent knife. These knives stay sharp for a very long time. My black handle knife that I'm replacing is still just as sharp as it was when I bought it. Great p...

Decent
The knife is very sharp out of the box, but the entire blade is so thin that it constantly feels like I might fold the edge over and I definitely feel uncomfortable cutting a thick block of cheese. Its great for veggies and softer things though.

I was sad
I expected this knife to be larger and a heavier than it is, It's not bad for the price but, I do not think I would but again. It's not dishwasher safe and because it has no weight to it you could easily cut yourself if you are not careful. I got what In paid for.

Love Rada Knives
I absolutely love Rada knives and have never had any knife that works as well but…. I am a little concerned. My paring knife is great and I have had no problems but the Cook’s knife is already distorted or dinged in the blade and I always hand washed them. To be fair I did not contact the company and it would not stop me from purchasing from them again.

Amazing
I bought 2 different sets from a co-workers son in high school. I bought the chef's set and then a full set of steak knifes. That was 14 years ago. I still have all the knifes and they are still cutting like new. Just an unbelieveable bargain for the money. They are easy to sharpen and maintain. I think I will keep these for a few more years even though I am getting ready to buy another set.
