Sharp but cheap
The handles on the knives were rough and had sharp ends. It's like the handles were not sanded be smooth at ends, Definitely hollow. I was going to give them as a wedding gift but I'd be embarrassed to gift them. How they hold up after use as not be determined yet.

Hand Wash ONLY!
The knives cut really well. However, unless you are willing to hand wash knives and risk cutting yourself, you should consider the plastic instead of silver colored handles. If you run them through the dishwasher, the finish will smudge off on your hands anytime you try to use them.
