I'm an ol' gal in her 50's who's a handy DIY er and knows her way around the wood shop. I've done a lot of home projects so I do not make decisions lightly when it comes to choosing a product. That being said, I did a whole lot of review reading on this particular floor before I went ahead and bought it ( Concord Maple) . I had the old floor torn out and the new installed in 3 days doing it all myself, and it was in the neighborhood of 400 sq. ft. I had ordered the extra 10%, but ended up return...

Flooring not easy

We installed this March 2023. It does not "click" together. There is considerably hammering involved. Best to have a scrap piece so you do not damage the tongue. Overall it is beautiful and quiet.

Consistently good quality.

Beautiful finish and easy to install. Matches prior purchase of four years ago perfectly.

False advertising

This product is advertised as waterproof. That is the main reason we went with this over a vinyl floor because we liked the color. After horrendous customer service, multiple issues with getting parts in, once we finally got to the point of installation and then fixing places of installation, the installer that Lowe’s contracts with told me these were not waterproof. I have had these floors for only a couple months and see signs of water damage in multiple areas. Do not get this product.

Great service

We needed another case, according to our contractor, that was going to be coming to work in a day or 2. So, we were thankful that the same flooring that we bought weeks earlier, was in stock when we needed it.

Pretty, But Difficult

I should have paid attention to other reviews that said it was difficult to install. "Tapping" planks together is a dream. It requires lots of hard banging. And when up against wall, using the pulling bar is very difficult. I kept bending the upright tab on pulling bar it required so much force. Then had to bend it back to use again.

Great product for the price!

I'm very happy with this flooring. I've installed several of these floors, and I found this to be one of the easiest to put down. It really goes together and stays connected better than more expensive flooring I've used. I'd recommend watching a YouTube "how to" video if you've never laid this before - you will find it helpful.
