Ratings & Reviews for Purdy 9-in x 1/4-in Nap Parrot Smooth Standard Woven Paint Roller Cover
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this roller for delivering an exceptionally smooth, mirror-like finish on cabinets, doors, and trim, with many comparing results to a sprayed application. The 1/4" nap minimizes texture and enables professional-grade coverage on polyurethane, stain, and enamel. While some report lint shedding, most who followed proper prep—washing, delinting, and masking—achieved outstanding performance. Reviewers highlight sturdy construction, excellent paint-holding capacity, and durability across multiple uses. Despite minor concerns about inconsistent rolling on rare occasions, the overwhelming majority consider this roller exceptional for detailed woodwork and trim projects.

Looked like a good product, not what we thought.
I bought these for my wife to paint our French doors. The spiral wound woven material left visible lines on the doors back and forth along the seam lines. She had to use our old roller to cover it up and leave an even finish.
