What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this brush for delivering professional-quality, streak-free finishes with no visible brush marks, even on latex and semi-gloss paints. The angled design and flexible bristles excel at cutting-in along edges, trim, and corners with precision. Many users report using the same brush for over 20 years, noting exceptional durability and bristle retention when cleaned properly. Reviewers consistently call it their go-to tool and describe it as worth the investment. A few mention minor bristle shedding, though this represents a tiny fraction of feedback. Overall, customers consider it superior to competing brands.

Would Not RecommendWe consider Purdy brushes to be of good quality. Was disappointed when bristles came off while we painted.

Great product.
Would RecommendBrush soft not streaks and made in America.
Superior paint brush
This brush applied the paint so smoothly and evenly that I just kept going and never switched to a roller. When I had finished the room I had used less than 1/2 the paint the job used the last time I painted that room. Job done faster, less mess and much better results.
Disappointed in Purdy
I have used it twice, both times two of the bristles came out. I thought Purdy was a top of the line brush. I paid top price for it, very disappointed. Not worth the money.

My new go to brush
Would RecommendI usually use the xl and decide to try this model with softer bristles. Paint glides on with this brush. Absorbs well and gives nice clean cut and leaves very little brush strokes when cutting in. Cleans up real easy
