Good stuff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Didn’t know this was a folding tool. Let alone the multi functional advantages it has. Purdy has a very good reputation and leader in the industry. With all the different sizes of rollers and things that I use this tool to clean and scrape with the folding part makes it all that more useful. Sturdy handle and the blade is a very sturdy one as well.

Foldability is great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had a lot of these tools over the years, and the versatility is everything you need, but all the sharp edges are kind of dangerous when storing, so I love that this one is foldable. Nice and sturdy, and it gets the jobs done.

Great tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago. It’s a ten in one and works great. It also has a pocket clip on it so you can keep it close and handy. It’s a great painting tool for someone who does this for a living. It is very durable and not cheaply made.

Very Convenient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool is an extreme convenience for my painting projects. I used to have to carry around a bag of tools, now I can throw this in with my brushes and rollers and keep packing down to a minimum. Definitely an essential for any DIYer or professional!

More useful than a third arm!Cant live without it

G'day from Australia! I was a commercial painter for 15 years. For Christmas 2018 i was given this multi tool and I have used it almost every single day since then! If I leave the house for work ; it's in my pocket. If my new pants don't have a pocket for it - I don't use those pants! Seriously! I can't risk loosing it. If I notice it's not on me I freak out - this is genuinely the most well designed, useful compact tool I could have ever owned and im on a hunt for another incase they stop bei...

An Excellent Tool to Use During Most Situations!

This product may be called a painter’s tool, but it versatility allowed me to utilize it during painting, plumbing, carpentry and general household repairs. I would definitely recommend this product to available to every home owners as well as professional craftsmen \ craftswomen.

Poorly made

I have bought one but with the slightest pressure the blade folds in and traps your fingers, absolutely lethal

Love it!

Just got one and it went in my drywall belt, small and folding is what caught my eye to try. No, it doesn’t have the beef of the big one, but for a folder in the duty pouch it’s perfect. I made some small drywall patches with it too over a few small cracks and nail holes and it was perfect.

Unsafe Tool

Like others have reported this is a faulty product and dangerous to use. The locking mechanism is poor and blade is too think for many scraping and cleaning functions.

Only get if you need one that folds.

The folding feature make this scraper more compact and easier to carry, but when you are scraping, and applying pressure you can release the lock and cause the blade to start folding. If you don't need to carry it around, I would recommend get one that does not fold.

Love it such a handy tool for my tool box I am a heating mechanic . This tool is great for removing gaskets

Another Purdy disappoinment

Looks good but the tool is poir quality. Blade snapped and the licking mechanism colapses easiky. Buyer beware, safety issues and faulty blade.

Blade not very strong

Used this for a short while to scrape old paint off. The blades seems to go blunt very quickly shame can't change the blade, also not sure what the 10 applications are, still good for opening boxes that are taped up.

Folding scraper

I thought this would be cool to have but. When you use it scraping it's to easy to hit the lock and it unfolds on you pinching your fingers. So for this I give 2 stars.
