The negative reviews / problems , on here looks to be more operator error , maintenance issues. l have 5 of the 18 inch roler frames. paint will lock any roller up if it gets in around roller shaft . We can complete a three color 2 bedroom apartment paint out in no time . would recommend again and again

Love this tool!

Would Not RecommendI wish I could write a positive review... but I can't. Do not buy! The plastic end caps break way too easily. For the more than $20 I would expect a much better quality. Some people have better experience -- I wish I could say the same. This is not a very good design. The plastic is just not strong enough. Purdy seriously needs to rethink the design. The metal part that holds the plastic should have fabricated so that it holds the roller brush. Having a plastic bracket is just a horrible...

Would Not RecommendI don't like the angle of inclination and complexity of the design. I prefer the Wooster Big Ben because it is simple and at a better price.
