I cut an 8’ 2x4 in half to make 2 sawhorses that are each 4’ long. At 4’ they are sufficiently long, and sturdy enough, for a pair of sawhorses to hold 7 - 2x6x12’ tongue and groove pine boards for me to stain, with a bit of room between each one. Would RecommendI like the fact that I was able to construct my own.Saw horses using these and two by fours. I was able to make them any heights I wanted. I would definitely recommend these to anybody else who wants to construct their own saw horses. They are made out of great material and will hold up under good construction. They are able to stand up 300 hundred pounds each.
